Man arrested in connection to homicide in Little Rock's 12th Street Division

Anthony Thomas Jr., 24, has been arrested for the murder of 18-year-old Justin Bell.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — According to LRPD, Anthony Thomas Jr., 24, was arrested July 12 for the murder of 18-year-old Justin Bell.

Police responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of 11th and Lewis streets just after midnight on Thursday, July 11.

LRPD found 18-year-old Justin Bell lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. MEMS responded and transported him to UAMS, where he was pronounced deceased.

Officers interviewed potential witnesses and evidence was collected from the scene. Two mopeds were towed to the Little Rock Police Crime Scene Bay to be processed for potential evidence.

This is the 24th homicide in Little Rock this year.
