Lonoke County deputies searching for suspect facing numerous felony charges

According to Lonoke County Sheriff's Office, a stolen truck was located in Cabot on Saturday, May 18. The truck had been reported out of Pulaski County.

Deputy James Armstrong made an attempt to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled and led police on pursuit. 

As the driver approach Ward, Ward officer Andy Van Lente was able to successfully deploy spike strips and disable the truck's driver-side front tire.

The suspect continued to flee until the end of Katie Lane, near Hwy 321 in rural Lonoke County.

The suspect has been identified as Zachary Allen Looney, who is on probation. He and an unknown female passenger fled into the woods; police were unable to locate them.

Upon searching the vehicle, deputies discovered two loaded firearms and a substance they suspect to be meth.

Looney has an active warrant out for his arrest for probation violation and will be facing numerous felony charges.
