NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Bobby Acklin was approved to become the interim superintendent of North Little Rock School District on Thursday, June 14.
He will start the position on July 1, according to a Facebook post.
He released the following statement:
“It gives me great pleasure and satisfaction to return to the North Little Rock School District as Interim Superintendent. I am humbled for the opportunity to serve the students in the North Little Rock School District. By working together with all stakeholders in our community, we will be able to continue the great programs and services our students deserve. I cannot effectively serve our children alone; however, together we can meet and exceed the standards and goals that have been set for our students. I promise to keep students first.”
