18th annual Conway Regional Toy Run collects over 1,000 toys for children Conway Regional Health

Hundreds of Bikers from around Arkansas rode their bikes, or for Christmas sake "sleighs," into Conway today for the 18th annual Conway Regional Toy Run.

CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - Hundreds of Bikers from around Arkansas rode their bikes, or for Christmas sake "sleighs," into Conway today for the 18th annual Conway Regional Toy Run.

They all collected toys that will be passed out to children at Conway Regional Health System throughout the year, but especially to kids who will spend the holidays there.

"We try to make sure that every child that is admitted to Conway Regional Pediatric or the Hospital itself gets a toy of his or her own," said. "Kind of a little security blanket for them. Gives them something to hang onto."

Organizers tell us the toy run started with just five people who passed out toys. This year, there were more than 500 riders and thousands of toys were collected.
