LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - On Sunday night, Dec. 9, the community was able to watch actors portraying scenes from the Nativity story during the annual the annual Drive Thru Living Nativity Scene at Winfield United Methodist Church in Little Rock.
Viewers were able to see every thing from the comfort of their car, and admission was free. Organizers tell us it's a community effort to put the event on.
"People are out there just doing what they feel may have been happening at the time," Debbie Hulsey said, "and when that happens it brings a lot of reality to it. This is community based ao we have people from other churches that are actually here being a part of it and we enjoy it, we've been doing it for decades."
People who drove through, got the materials they needed to read about the different scenes as they move along. At the end of the drive, they also get a candy cane treat.
