MAUMELLE, Ark. (KTHV) -- A former Arkansas Razorbacks football player and current paraprofessional at Maumelle High School was arrested on Friday after he sold prescription narcotics to an undercover officer.

An undercover officer with the Maumelle Police Department conducted a buy of oxycodone from 36-year-old Sacha Lancaster in the Maumelle High School parking lot.

Reports state that Lancaster was arrested on school grounds and charged with delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance.

He was transported to the Pulaski County Jail, and a bond of $5,000 was set.

Authorities emphasized that this is not an allegation that Lancaster sold or delivered any controlled substances to any faculty member or student of the Maumelle High School.

Deb Roush, the spokesperson for PCSSD gave the following statement:

Lancaster was a full time employee. He has been suspended pending an investigation by the school district. He will not be in school on Monday.
