Ashley King is a Radio and Television host. She can be seen weekdays on the lifestyle and entertainment program, The Vine, on CBS affiliate KTHV in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Additionally, she is an afternoon On-Air Personality for Alice 107.7 in Little Rock, AR and 101.9 KISS FM in Jonesboro, AR.
While she immensely enjoys entertaining an audience, her true passion is interacting and connecting with people. Ashley understands the bridge between strong leadership, creating relationships, and engaging an audience.
Ashley's broadcasting career began in 1996 as the overnight deejay for KIYS in Jonesboro, AR and she returned as the afternoon host for the same station in 2019. Since that first gig in 1996, she has held practically every role in a radio station, from Public Service Director to Morning Show Host, Assistant Program Director to Director of Digital Media.
In the early 2000’s, radio led Ashley to Knoxville, Tennessee where she was the Midday Host on Star 102.1 and also worked for country music giant WIVK. She has hosted shows for WACO 100 in WACO, Texas, KKIX in Fayetteville, AR and KMAG in Fort Smith, AR. In Little Rock, AR, Ashley has hosted shows on KSSN, KKPT, and is currently heard on KLAL.
In 2018, Ashley landed as host of the first lifestyle and entertainment program in KTHV's 63-year history. In addition to hosting The Vine, Ashley has also led viewers across the Natural State as host of "Discover Arkansas" where she introduced viewers to a variety of places to explore in the state. She has interviewed entertainers, philanthropists, business and community leaders, from Garth Brooks to the First Lady of Arkansas, Susan Hutchinson.
Ashley is a native of Clinton, Arkansas and hails from a long line of broadcasters. Her great Uncle Bob Buice was a farm reporter and journalist for KARK. Her father, Sid King, owns and operates radio stations KGFL and KHPQ in her hometown. Ashley’s sister, Ali King Sugg, established radio station 101.9 The Lake in Heber Springs, Arkansas.
Ashley holds a B.S. degree in Broadcast Journalism from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. While she enjoys being a broadcaster, Ashley’s greatest achievement is her family.
She has been married to her college sweetheart, Micah Marsh, since 1999 and together they are the parents of three daughters. Their oldest daughter, Maddie, is a student at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR and daughter Avery attends Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Currently, Ashley and Micah reside in Little Rock with their youngest daughter, Laney.
