Ashley McBryde bringing tour to Little Rock in August 2021

Tickets for the general public go on sale everywhere Friday, May 21 at 10 a.m.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — ACM and CMA award winner Ashley McBryde will be bringing her tour back to her home state in August 2021.

McBryde is set to perform at the Robinson Performance Hall on August 7, 2021 with opening guest, Morgan Wade.

For the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau, Communications Manager Libby Lloyd said McBryde performing on their stage is just the sell-out show they're looking for after COVID-19 left these seats vacant for so many months.

"I think it's very thrilling that you have such a superstar like Ashley McBryde who really is on the forefront of the country music scene right now," she said.

Recovering means being able to hire back staff again, but some logistics for the concert in August aren't squared away just yet.

Right now shows at the theater aren't at full capacity and masks are required.

For McBryde's concert, over 2,000 seats will be available but masks are still in question, according to Lloyd.

"Tourism was one of the hardest hit industries due to the COVID-19 pandemic and we will be one of the last to recover," she said.

Owner of the Library Kitchen and Lounge, Rob Byford, hopes big name, like McBryde, means big business for his restaurant and bar just a few blocks away from the venue.

"It's major. I mean things coming back to downtown is literally, it's survival for us," he said.

Byford said he remembers seeing McBryde over 10 years ago at Dugan's Pub and believes she's exactly what the city needs.

"It's a big time event for downtown and it'll be one that it'll be remembered for a long time," he said.

McBryde's This Town Talks Tour kicks off June 12 in Roanoke, Va. before heading out to an additional 36 cities across the U.S. into 2022, wrapping on Jan.15, 2022, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Priscilla Block, Adam Hambrick, and Ray Fulcher will also tag along for select shows.

Pre-sale tickets for McBryde’s fan club The Trybe begin Tuesday, May 18, at 10 a.m. local time, while the Spotify pre-sale will begin Wednesday, May 19 at 12 p.m. local time.
