Claudia Raffo, former Miss Historic Batesville, crowned Miss Arkansas 2018

Forty-four women from across the state joined to compete for more than $184,000 dollars in scholarships. This is the competition's second year to be held in Little Rock.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Claudia Raffo, former Miss Historic Batesville, was crowned as Miss Arkansas 2018, winning a $30,000 scholarship during the 81st Annual Miss Arkansas.

The 22-year-old supports New Life Saves Lives: Umbilical Cord Donation. Raffo, from Jonesboro, will attend the UAMS's College of Pharmacy.

Raffo graduated from Arkansas State University, where she was a Red Wolves Dancer and a member of Alpha Gamma Delta. Her father, Tommy Raffo, is the Arkansas State head baseball coach.
