MISSOURI, USA — Silver Dollar City (SDC) announced that construction is underway for its new theme park resort, which is scheduled to open in late 2026.
This would make it America's Heartland's first theme park resort, according to SDC. The amusement park's plans include a half-a-billion-dollar investment over the next ten years to construct new family adventures. Among those plans are the development of 1,200 acres next to the Ozark Mountain theme park.
The resort will have 262 rooms featuring views of the Ozark Mountains and Table Rock Lake. It will also have access to the SDC amusement park. Other nearby attractions include the Whtie Water water park, Showboat dinner cruises, Pink Jeep Adventure Tours, and the Silver Dollar City Campground.
SDC Parks & Resorts President Brad Thomas said this expansion is more than just growth.
“This is more than just growth—it’s a new era," said Thomas. “Over the next decade, we will mindfully transform 1,200 acres into an authentic, only-in-the-Ozarks destination, starting with our first resort. The new resort will combine Silver Dollar City’s spirit of playfulness, discovery, craftsmanship and exploration with all that makes The Heart of the Ozarks so special."
SDC said more information about its amenities and other resort details will be released in the coming months.
