HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. — Amongst the beautiful natural attractions in Arkansas is the Bridal Veil Falls, located in Heber Springs. Adam Bledsoe made his way to these falls to discover the accuracy of online reviews.
The Bridal Veil Falls is currently maintained by the Heber Springs City Parks and Recreation Department along with a community improvement project sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cleburne County. Prior to this arrangement, the Young Business Men’s Club took ownership from timber companies in the 1960’s, opening this property for the public to enjoy.
Upon your arrival you will find a very short hike to a wooden deck overlooking the falls. This is a convenient place to observe the falls, but this isn’t the only view point. Guests are able to follow the half mile trail to the bottom of the falls. The journey to the bottom has some challenging sections, but is certainly worth the trip.
The water was not flowing heavily at the time of our visit, but one could be certain the falls would be magnificent after a decent rain! Visitors would be wise to wear hiking boots and possibly pack along some bug spray.
