When Sarah Ashley found out that her dad's strategy for paying for her wedding would be selling fireworks, she thought it was a little crazy.
"But it just might work," she said.
Firework stands are a southern staple, especially here in Arkansas, but most don't necessarily see them as a way to make enough money to pay for a wedding.
So when the Bryant Family decided to start their own stand, they went all-in.
"Weddings are not cheap," said Heath Bryant, the father of Sarah Ashley, who will be a bride come August.
Sarah Ashley's mom and dad are a teacher and work for a church, so she wasn't sure where the money for the wedding would come from.
"If anyone could make it work, my dad could."
Her father wanted to make sure her wedding was the best it could be, so his plans are to definitely make it work— along with help from the whole family.
"It's been great seeing our family come together, because really it is for Sarah Ashley, but all of our kids are excited for her getting married— our whole family is, and [we] want to make this happen for her," Bryant said.
The Bryant family have taken turns spending late nights in the tent to make sure it's running smoothly.
"It is definitely a tent with some explosives inside it, but it really is just such a picture of their love for me, and it's really really sweet to see," Sarah Ashely said.
The Bryant's fireworks stand is located at the Walmart on Elm Springs Road in Springdale.
