LONOKE, Ark. — If you're searching for a spot to enjoy both amazing art and cuisine, look no further than the Cozy Nook Cafe in the heart of downtown Lonoke. Not only that, but they've got one of the best cinnamon rolls you'll ever try!
Owner Terri Taylor Rollins said that Cozy Nook Cafe is a mixture of many parts of her life.
“It’s a little bit of Hot Springs, it’s a little bit of Oklahoma, and it’s a little bit of my travels,” she explained.
While her first love is art, Rollins was inspired by her son to find a way to combine her passions
“I love to cook," she said. "And my son is a chef, and he said 'Mom let’s get busy'".
As for the ingredients, you can mind nearly all of them just miles away in the delta. “
Our milk, our eggs, our meat, our vegetables, and most of our fruit come within 40 miles,” Rollins added.
All the sandwiches at Cozy Nook Cafe are named after famous artists, like Andy Warhol. Terri said in our case that's a “chicken salad sandwich and we also do soups of the day.”
This menu includes a variety of incredible breakfast and lunch options. We tried the amazing chicken and dumplings, gumbo, salad, and of course the cinnamon rolls.
