Afrobites and Bulgogi | The rich history behind these Arkansas restaurants

We've visited so many restaurants in 2022 that have become staples to the families, friends, and businesses in their communities.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Eat It Up is all about sharing stories of local eateries. Often the food is just as rich as those heartwarming stories of family and dreams come true.

This week, we took time to pause and look back at some of the most memorable stories that we’ve been so thankful to tell!

Over the last year we’ve visited some of the most unique restaurants.

From small town staples such as Grumpy Rabbit in Lonoke, Knight Fire BBQ in Searcy, to Grampa’s in Maumelle, we’ve hit some pretty impactful establishments in 2022.

Along the way, we've learned that these local eateries are often the heartbeat of our communities. It’s where business happens, where friends connect, and where families gather.

There’s no doubt some of our community staples have been around a long time, but we’re also joyed to share the stories of new restaurants.

Some of restaurants are dreams come true, others are born from leaps of faith, and some like Afrobites and Bulgogi have origins all around the globe.

We are so thankful to share these stories every week and look forward to another year of good food!
