This iconic Little Rock restaurant has served the community for 38 years

This iconic spot has brought the Little Rock community together for 38 years with a delicious menu that changes each month and homemade desserts.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — This week on Eat it Up we’re in my neck of the woods in mid-town off of Cantrell in Little Rock at Trio’s.

This spot is iconic with amazing traditions. Trio's doesn't just serve soup and salads, they’ve got an innovative menu that changes every single month.

“We started Trio’s with a couple of partners in 1986. We’re the only original tenet here at Pavilion in the Park. We have thrived and grown, survived the tornado and COVID," Co-owner Capi Peck said. "If we are nothing but resilient that’s what I’m proud of."

In March 2023, the restaurant was forced to close for a period of time after a devastating tornado hit Little Rock and tore right through the center where Trio's is located.

"We were closed for two months, and we had extensive damage. We had to close again for a couple of weeks. We had to replace our entire ventilation system but we survived," Peck described. "We have our original crew, resiliency, and family. We’re still undergoing some construction, but we made it."

Now, things are settling back to normal at the popular Little Rock spot, with new menu items to keep people interested.

Peck added that while the menu does change frequently, customers can still get their favorites like the Trio’s chicken salad, Peck salad, or the spinach dip.

"We also have a cobias special, it’s a wonderful fish that you don’t see around this part of the country much," she said. "We have all of our fish flown in and everything is sustainable. We try to be as green as we possibly can and buy everything we possibly can locally."

And if you have any dietary restrictions or needs, Trio's has you covered!

"You’ve got beef, you’ve got chicken, or you can go vegan. If you have any dietary needs we try to help you out with that. We get to be creative and go all over the place with the menu as well," Peck said. "You can come for lunch then dinner and have two completely different experiences. You sure can!"
