Genghis Grill bids farewell to Little Rock

Genghis Grill in Little Rock will officially close its doors on July 28 at the end of business hours, the Mongolian stir-fry restaurant announced.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Genghis Grill off Chenal Parkway in Little Rock will officially close its doors on July 28 at the end of business hours, and the Mongolian stir-fry restaurant is inviting everyone out for one final meal.

"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of Genghis Grill," the restaurant said on Facebook. "We want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and loyalty over the years. We've cherished every moment spent serving you and being a part of this wonderful community."

Founded in 1998, Genghis Grill has allowed people in the Little Rock community to celebrate Asian-inspired cuisine with a hands-on approach through its unique "build your own bowl" concept.

The interactive dining experience was inspired by the legend of Genghis Khan and his Mongol warriors, who reportedly used their shields to grill food on the battlefield.

"We also want to assure you that we've taken measures to help our dedicated employees find new employment opportunities," Genghis Grill in Little Rock said. "Their well-being and future are very important to us... we invite you to join us one last time to celebrate the memories we've created."

Despite closing its Little Rock location, Genghis Grill still has over 50 restaurants across the United States.
