DENVER — A popular Halloween tradition is returning to Chipotle.
Chipotle Mexican Grill announced its Boorito tradition will return Thursday, Oct. 31.
The company said it will offer a discounted entrée for $6 to in-restaurant Chipotle Rewards customers who are wearing a costume from 3 p.m. to close local time on Halloween.
For the first time ever, Chipotle said it will expand its Boorito celebration to Europe with a £6 / €7 entrée offer in the United Kingdom and France.
“As an annual tradition for our fans, we are always looking for ways to level up our Halloween celebration,” Chipotle Chief Brand Officer Chris Brandt said. “By extending hours on college campuses and expanding the festivities across two continents for the first time, Boorito will be bigger than ever.”
Boorito After Hours
Chipotle said select locations in college towns across the United Sates will remain open until midnight on Halloween.
On Thursday, Oct. 31, 53 Chipotle restaurants will extend their hours until 11:59 p.m. The University of Colorado in Boulder is one of the participating Chipotle restaurants on Halloween.
Spirit Halloween costumes
Chipotle has launched its first-ever costume collection in collaboration with Spirit Halloween.
The brand teamed up with Spirit Halloween to create five costumes including a Chipotle napkin, fork, water cup, burrito and to-go bag, available exclusively at SpiritHalloween.com and select Spirit Halloween retail locations.
