LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Have an armadillo tearing up your flower beds in search of food? Here are some expert tips at discouraging the pest from attacking your hard work.
1. Build a fence with no space big enough for them (or other animals) to crawl through. Make sure it is buried one foot underground.
2. Make your yard stink with vinegar, ammonia, or pine cleaner.
3. Use pine needles or pine bark for mulch.
4. Try trapping them and releasing them elsewhere.
5. Place rubber ball or two on your beds.
