LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Here at THV 11, we are big supporters of the Thea Foundation, and the work they do to help keep art programs in public schools.
The foundation celebrated a decade of decorating sidewalks on Saturday with their 10th Annual "Thea Paves the Way "event. Kids from all over the state had a chance to turn the walkways of the Clinton Center into their most colorful imaginations.
While most of the time the organization is focused on art education, the goal for Saturday was simple.
"We do it just for fun. When kids get together and they collaborate, and they're doing something fun, they really learn a lot about communication, about art, about life," said Paul Leopoulos, executive director of the Thea Foundation.
The Thea Foundation provides scholarships and supplies to schools, all designed to help fund an art education.
