Dozens of pet owners were able to get low-cost vaccinations for their furry friends today during "Arkansans for Animals'" wellness clinic.
The program helps ensure that pet owners can provide their animals with the basic veterinary care they need.
"It's just low cost vaccines to help to help bridge the gap for low income people to be able to afford vaccinations and keep their animals healthy," Cassidy Thompson said, certified veterinarian assistant at Arkansans for Animals.
The clinic’s wellness events are generally held on the first and third Sundays of the month, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at its office in southwest Little Rock.
