Little Rock teen rescued from trafficking operation

A 15-year-old trafficking victim was rescued in Baton Rouge.

Udraka Moab Roberts-Bey, 25, of New Orleans and Jennifer Gabrielle Anselmo, 22, of Slaughter, La.

BATON ROUGE, La. (KTHV) - A 15-year-old trafficking victim was rescued in Baton Rouge.

According to East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office (EBRSO), the Little Rock teen was discovered June 21 during an undercover operation at a local hotel.

Jennifer Gabrielle Anselmo, 22, of Slaughter, La., and Udraka Moab Roberts-Bey, 25, of New Orleans have both been arrested and charged in the case.

Anselmo faces possession of schedule 1 drugs, drug paraphernalia, prostitution, human trafficking of children for sexual purposes and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile while Roberts-Bey faces carnal knowledge of a juvenile, human trafficking of children for sexual purposes, pandering, possession of schedule 4 drugs, contributing to delinquency of a juvenile and promoting prostitution.

The Department of Children and Family Services will provides services and assistance to the teen in order to return her home.
