LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – President and General Manager Michael Caplan has announced Taylor McGregor as the newest member of the THV11 team.
Taylor, a University of Arkansas graduate, joins the team as Sports Anchor. She grew up in Denver, Colorado and hails most recently from Casper, Wyoming where she served at KCWY News13 as Sports Director.
Taylor is a diehard sports fan. She recalls that covering the Hogs while studying broadcast journalism at the university was the “junk food she couldn’t get enough of.” She is excited to be back in the Natural State, sharing stories surrounding Arkansas’s many sports programs, from kids’ sports to college, and everything in between.
“We are thrilled to have Taylor join the THV11 team,” Caplan said. “We know her passion will motivate her as she tells the great sports stories in our state.”
In addition to Taylor’s stint in Wyoming, she worked as social media reporter for ROOT Sports Pittsburgh and as an intern with ROOT Sports Rocky Mountains. A couple of the moments she’s most proud of in her career so far is covering Derek Jeter’s final season with the Yankees, as well as the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
THV11 News Director Dave Parker added, “I believe sports fans will appreciate Taylor’s passion for Arkansas as much as I do. She will help make THV11 an even stronger team.”
Taylor will join the THV11 Team on-air in July.
