CLINTON, Ark. - The Van Buren County Animal Shelter is joining the North Shore Animal League America, and more than 35 shelter partners across the country, to celebrate Hallmark Channel's Kitten Bowl III game with a Kitten Bowl Party event.
The highlight of the event is finding homes for adoptable cats and kittens as well as dogs and puppies. In addition to showing Hallmark Channel's Kitten Bowl III showdown, there will also be an adoption special along with plenty of fun-filled activities and give-a-ways.
Kitten Bowl is the greatest feline showdown in cable television history and has resulted in over 850 adoptions nationwide in the past two years. The competition will be hosted by North Shore Animal League America's volunteer, voster mom and national spokesperson, Beth Stern, play-by-play announcer John Sterling, who is the iconic radio voice of the New York Yankees, and award-winning reporter, sports analyst and commentator Mary Carillo, followed by Feline Football League (FFL) Commissioner Boomer Esiason.
Kitten Bowl III will premiere on Super Bowl Sunday at 11 a.m. CT on the Hallmark channel.
All of the players in the actual Kitten Bowl competition have found loving homes through Hallmark Channel's partnership with North Shore Animal League America, the world's largest no-kill, rescue and animal adoption organization. However, there are plenty of fabulous felines at your local shelter waiting to find their new homes.
