LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A high risk convicted sex offender wanted out of Utah and Arkansas was arrested on Wednesday in Chloride, Ariz.

Troy Clark, 46, was wanted out of Pulaski County and Little Rock, Ark. for violating his requirement to register as a sex offender and the conditions of his probation, as well as by the Weber county Sheriff's Office in Utah for two counts of rape of a child.

U.S. Department of Justice stated that Clark raped a child while living with a family in Utah. While residing in Utah, Clark did not register as a sex offender as required by law. Clark left Utah when police attempted to issue him a warrant.

Deputy U.S. Marshals was able to locate and arrest Clark while he was leaving a residence in Chloride, Ariz. Clark had drastically altered his appearance and was using a false identity at the time of the arrest.

"This child predator and others like him are a priority in our investigative efforts," said United States Marshal David P. Gonzales. "In spite of the extensive efforts of fugitive sex offenders to avoid arrest and prosecution, the U. S. Marshals Service is committed to using every available resource to hunt down these predators to keep our communities and children safe."

Clark was booked into the Mohave County Jail where he will be held pending extradition.
