2 inmates escape Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility after crawling through bathroom ceiling

On Thursday, May 30 at 2:13 a.m. two inmates were discovered missing from the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility.

PULASKI COUNTY, Arkansas — On Thursday, May 30 at 2:13 a.m. two inmates were discovered missing from the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility. 

Police say it is initially believed that 31-year-old Jason Michael Brown and 47-year-old Geronimo Espericueta crawled through a bathroom ceiling in “B” Unit and made their way to the roof. 

The “B” Unit is located in the old jail that is attached to the newer facility.

Brown was being held on aggravated robbery, burglary and theft charges. Espericueta was being held on Drug Charges.

 Local agencies are assisting in the search along with the Arkansas Department of Corrections and their tracking dogs.
