Arkansas attorney general warns of phone scam involving court officer impersonator

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin warned the public on Saturday about a scam involving someone calling Arkansans and claiming to be an officer of the court.

Griffin said the attorney general's office is investigating the scam and urged people not to provide personal information or make payment transactions over the phone if they receive such a call.
