FORREST CITY, Ark. — An Arkansas doctor has now been arrested and charged with multiple felony charges of sexual assault and rape.
According to reports, in August 2023, 60-year-old Dr. Sudesh Banaji was investigated by Arkansas State Police on allegations of inappropriate sexual contact with female patients while at his clinic in Forrest City.
After the investigation, Banaji was later arrested and charged with six felony counts of second-degree sexual assault, and one felony count of rape.
He is now being held at the Cross County Sheriff's Office on a $35,000 bond.
