Arkansas man arrested, charged with first degree murder in connection to March homicide

Arkansas State Police arrested Jose Aldridge and charged him with first-degree murder in connection to the death of a 29-year-old man on March 14.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas State Police have arrested a man in connection to a homicide that occurred in March. 

According to authorities, 30-year-old Jose Aldridge of Conway was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection to the death of 29-year-old Steven Anthony Tyler on March 14. 

Authorities began investigating on March 14 when they found Tyler and a second man shot inside of a vehicle parked on Harris Street in Clarendon. Tyler died as a result of his injuries, while the second man was taken to a local hospital and later released. 

Arkansas State Police said that Aldridge was also charged with firearm possession and was transported to the Monroe County Detention Center.
