TEXARKANA, Ark. — Two Arkansas men have now been arrested for their involvement in the possession of child sexual abuse materials.

According to reports, officials first began an investigation into 27-year-old Lewis Northcutt of Texarkana after they received multiple tips through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) from messaging applications like Kik, Snapchat, and Google.

On Thursday morning, agents with the Arkansas Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department were able to execute a search warrant at a home in the 2100 block of Pinson Drive in Texarkana, Arkansas.

After the search, Northcutt was arrested and charged with 30 counts of possession of child sexual abuse materials.

He has been booked into the Miller County Detention Center where he is being held on a $150,000 bond.

In a different case, agents also received a cyber tip from the NCMEC related to nefarious activity happening on a social media platform.

ICAC agents alongside members of the Saline County Sheriff's Office then executed a search warrant at the home of 47-year-old Chris Patton of Hensley.

Hensley was arrested for five counts of possession of child sexual abuse materials and has been taken to the Saline County Detention Center. He is currently awaiting his first court appearance.
