Arrest made in April Fool’s Day homicide on David O’Dodd

Michael Wood, 53, is charged with first-degree murder.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – The Little Rock Police Department has arrested a 53-year-old man in connection with a homicide on April Fool’s Day.

It happened at a home around 5:30 p.m. on the 11-thousand block of David O’Dodd. Officers arrived at the home and found 40-year-old Joshua Loy in the front yard and unresponsive with gunshot injuries to his upper body.

He died a short time later.

The occupant of the residence was taken to the Major Crimes Division to be interviewed. Michael Wood has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held in the Pulaski County Jail without bond.
