LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — According to the Little Rock Police Department, 31-year-old Jacovan Bush has been arrested in connection to the 2018 murder of Devon Howard.
At 7:50 p.m. on February 15, 2018, Howard was home at the Eagle Nest Apartments when, according to police, someone knocked on the door, forcing their way in when Howard answered. Witnesses heard the suspects demanding money and then a gunshot. Howard died on his apartment floor.
Howard was 23 years old.
Police say during the course of the investigation, Jacovan Bush was developed as one of two suspects. Warrants for Capital Murder and Aggravated Robbery were obtained.
The release says that Bush moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa shortly after the homicide and U.S. Marshals were able to located Bush on January 24, 2020.
He has been placed in Linn County Jail in Iowa and is awaiting extradition to Arkansas.
