BRYANT, Ark. (KTHV) - Sexual assault charges have been filed against a high school band teacher.
According to the Saline County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, James Chad Green, 36, has been charged with first-degree sexual assault after his arrest Oct. 31 for allegedly assaulting a male student.
The Bryant Police Department Criminal Investigation Division confirmed that Green had been employed at the Bryant High School, and the charges were formally filed Oct. 16 before his arrest half a month later.
Green has been released on $25,000 bail and his next appearance in court is Nov. 19 at 9 a.m.
