BENTON, Ark. — Update: Benton police have located the escapee, and he's back in custody.
The Benton Police Department is looking for an escaped inmate who is said to have "violent tendencies toward himself and others."
Authorities said 28-year-old David Goings was last seen leaving Rivendell Behavioral Health Services, where he was being held for a psych evaluation for Miller County law enforcement.
Goings is 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 167 pounds. He has a bald head and tattoos on his face and arm and was last seen wearing a dark-colored T-shirt and dark pants.
Benton police advise anyone who sees Goings to call 911 immediately and not approach him.
