CONWAY, Ark. — On Friday, the Conway Police Department arrested three men after a search revealed them to have drugs and firearms.
Conway police said they went to an address on 3rd Street to arrest 22-year-old Ryan Cockrell, who had a felony arrest warrant for avoiding Arkansas Probation and Parole.
While making contact with Cockrell, officers executed a search warrant and found 24-year-old Darius Gatewood and 25-year-old Tares Hunt in possession of drugs and illegal guns.
Authorities arrested Cockrell, Gatewood and Hunt and all three men were charged with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, maintaining drug premises within drug-free zone, possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver and tampering with physical evidence.
Cockrell was also charged with possession of a firearm by a certain persons.
