WHEATLEY, Ark. — A former chief marshal with the Wheatley Police Department has now been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department of Arkansas State Police.
According to reports, 25-year-old Jacob Lynn Gammel was arrested by ASP agents while at his home in Wheatley on March 25.
He was taken to the St. Francis County Jail and charged with felony perjury and theft of property.
Gammel is scheduled to be in court on March 26, 2024.
