MAUMELLE, Ark. — The Maumelle Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that happened on Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, MPD officers were called with reports of a shooting on Millstone Cove. Once they arrived, officers made contact with a victim suffering from what was described as a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was then taken to the hospital.
Officers later identified the suspect and they were located by the Conway Police Department. The suspect has since been taken into custody.
No information has been released regarding the identities of the victim or the suspect.
