JACKSONVILLE, Arkansas — Jacksonville police are currently investigating after a a man was fatally struck by a train on Thursday.
According to authorities, the incident happened around 7:50 p.m. near South Spring Street. Once on the scene, officers located the victim identified as Jimmy Flennoy.
Reports say that Union Pacific notified of the accident and responded to the scene.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway by Jacksonville authorities.
