LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) –Boxer Jermain Taylor has been formally charged with second-degree battery after allegedly knocking out a man in a rehabilitation facility.
According to court documents, Taylor's felony charge could carry a six-year maximum prison sentence but could be doubled if he is convicted of any other pending felony charges.
The two men were both apparently participating in a substance-abuse rehabilitation program. Taylor was there in order to avoid jail time; he has since returned to the Pulaski County Jail.
