Little Rock homeowner shoots burglary suspect

According to the Little Rock Police Department, a homeowner shot a suspect who he believed was trying to break into his home

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – According to the Little Rock Police Department, a homeowner shot a man who he believed was trying to break into his home.

According to Officer Hilgeman with the LRPD, the incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Friday on Lovett Drive in southwest Little Rock.

Police say the suspect, 18-year-old Aaron Beasley of Little Rock, was hit once by a bullet and sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Beasley charged with residential burglary and theft of property. He is being held on a $25,000 bond. The homeowner was not charged.
