LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Little Rock Police Department is investigating a homicide near Birdie Lane after a woman was found dead with "apparent gunshot wounds" around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
According to authorities, Little Rock police officers responded to a service call and found the woman dead at the scene.
42-year-old Earnest Holmes was taken into custody without incident and arrested in connection with this shooting. He has been charged with capital murder and two counts of terroristic acts.
