LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Thursday, Oct. 1, at 1:30 p.m., officers in the Southwest Division responded to a shooting just occurred call at 5204 Stanley Drive.
Officers additionally received several “shots fired” calls in this immediate area, reporting several gun shots being heard.
Officers arrived on the scene and located a female, later identified as 35-year-old Dekeesha McPhearson, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
]She was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The Little Rock police report shows October 1 was McPhearson's 35th birthday. The medical examiner also determined McPhearson was pregnant when she died.
Preliminary information received by officers, was that two men approached the rear of the apartment complex and began shooting.
On Dec. 7, police arrested 17-year-old Davareus Clark for first-degree murder in connection to McPhearson's death.
