LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — A 55-year-old man was shot and killed in the early morning of Friday, April 13 at 2600 Gaines St.
Eric Woods, of Little Rock, was reportedly shot while standing next to a dark-colored sedan that was stopped on Gaines Street. Witnesses heard several gunshots and saw the suspect vehicle flee the scene.
According to police, this is the 15th homicide of the year. At this time in 2017 there were 14 homicides.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no suspect information at this time.
