Pine Bluff police investigating city's 4th homicide of 2019

The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating a shooting on Camden Road that left one person dead and another injured.

PINE BLUFF, Ark. — UPDATE - Police say the second victim is in stable condition.

The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another injured.  

It happened on Tuesday, February 26 at about 9:30 p.m. when officers responded to the 3700 block of Camden Road in reference to multiple shots being fired.  

Upon arrival a red passenger car was located just east of that location.  Inside the car were 22-year-old Amanda Lee and a man.

Both of them had gunshot injuries and were taken to the hospital. Lee died from her injuries.  The man’s identity is being withheld at this time.

The shooting occurred as the car sat in the driveway between 3610 and 3700 Camden Road.  After the shooting the car rolled down the street before coming to rest where it was located by officers.  

The suspect fled the area after the shooting and remains at large.
