Police continue seeking information after Little Rock shooting that left two dead, multiple injured

Little Rock police are seeking information to help in the investigation of a shooting that happened in March which left two people dead and multiple people injured.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — (Eds. Note: The video above is from the day after the incident happened on March 26, 2023).

The Little Rock Police Department is seeking information to help in an investigation regarding a shooting that happened in March which left multiple people injured and two people dead.

According to reports, authorities received an initial call about a shooting near Asher Avenue and University. Officers said they first got the call around 9:25 p.m. on Sunday night, involving a woman and a child. Moments later, near Asher and Adams Street, six people were shot, and two people were killed.

Police later identified the two deceased victims as 20-year-old Malachi Carey and 20-year-old Jailene Washington.
