ASH FLAT, Ark. — A Sharp County man has now been convicted of more than a dozen counts of rape.
According to reports, in June 2023, the Sharp County Sheriff's Office requested the help of Arkansas State Police in an investigation after having received a report from the Arkansas Crimes Against Children Unit of a male who had allegedly sexually assaulted a minor.
On June 15, 2023, 65-year-old Terry "Woodstock" Long was arrested for rape.
Agents then examined the contents of his computer and cell phone, as well as the victim's cell phone.
After the evidence collected was presented to a Sharp County Jury, Long was found guilty.
Now, he has been convicted of 14 counts of rape and he was sentenced to 560 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
