Suspect arrested for allegedly killing 2023 missing Arkansas man

Arkansas State Police says the 59-year-old man was arrested in Oklahoma and charged with first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.

GRAVESVILLE, Ark. — An Oklahoma man was arrested on Sept. 11 for the murder of 34-year-old William Ward of Clinton, who had been missing since March 23, 2023.

According to Arkansas State Police, 59-year-old Bobby Gene Glover of Newalla, Okla., was arrested on charges of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.

Investigators found Ward's remains in the Gravesville community near Damascus in Van Buren County on Sept. 5.

Glover is being held on a $250,000 bond in Cleveland County, Okla., and is awaiting extradition to Arkansas.
