WHITE COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — The White County Sheriff's Office is now investigating an incident where two people were found dead on Sunday night.
According to reports, deputies were called to a home just outside of Searcy on Appalachia Road at around 9:00 p.m.
Officials say that the caller informed them of a deceased woman, and once deputies entered the home, they found a 46-year-old woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
They also found a 47-year-old man who was suffering from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The bodies have both been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine a definitive cause of death. However, police officials say it appears to be a self-contained incident and they are not seeking any additional suspects.
