Woman arrested after Cleburne County shooting leaves one injured

The Cleburne County Sheriff's Office has arrested a woman for her involvement in a shooting that left one person injured on Friday morning.

CLEBURNE COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — The Cleburne County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that left one person injured on Friday morning.

According to reports, at about 7:15 a.m., deputies were called to a home on Altom Road in Drasco with reports of a "disturbance" in the area. Once they arrived, they found a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Deputies gave aid to the male and he was then air flighted to the hospital for further treatment. No information has been released regarding the victim's identity or their current condition.

During the investigation, police were able to identify the male's girlfriend, 37-year-old Rebecca Mryglod, as a suspect in the incident. 

She was taken into custody and transported to the Cleburne County Jail on charges of attempted first-degree homicide, first-degree domestic battery, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms. 

The investigation into this incident remains ongoing and we will update with more information as soon as it becomes available.
