Bryant School Board passes resolution requiring masks for all students in Pre-K through 12th grade

Bryant schools will now require masks for all students this fall.

BRYANT, Ark — According to the Bryant Facebook page, on Thursday, July 23, the Bryant School Board passed a resolution to require face coverings/masks for all students in Pre-K through 12th grade — when social distancing is not possible or practical, including school buses.

With the new requirement possibly affecting some of the parents’ decisions to choose Blended (Onsite) or Virtual (Online) learning this fall, Bryant schools are providing one last opportunity for parents to alter their decision.

The only parents who need to complete this new form are:

  • Parents who want to change from Blended (Onsite) or Virtual (Online) learning.
  • Parents who did not complete an earlier survey and who want to select their student’s learning environment for Fall 2020.

The school said a final decisions must be made by Monday, July 27 at midnight. If the school does not receive a learning survey response for a student, then the child will be signed up for blended learning in the fall.
