Deep cleaning services slammed while closed businesses try to quickly reopen

With more and more restaurants closing their doors, businesses that offer deep cleaning services are doing more and more work.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — More and more restaurants are closing their doors over COVID-19 concerns.

Fassler Hall in downtown Little Rock said they feel like they're doing everything right, but still shut down temporarily because of staffing issues related to the virus.

Heights Taco and Rock Town Distillery also recently closed for similar reasons.

When the doors to many of these businesses are closed, the work isn't over.

"The cleaning we've done up to this point is not going to be good enough anymore,” said Anna Bressinck, owner of BioPure cleaning services.

BioPure Little Rock is just one cleaning service slammed while many businesses look to them for help with deep cleaning.

"With everyone touching and feeling fabrics, we just wanted to make it safer for everyone,” said Terry Dilday, co-owner of Cynthia East Fabrics.

Cynthia East Fabrics is one company that got the deep cleaning, while others are reaching out after learning COVID-19 has struck their businesses in hopes to get their doors back open quickly and safely.

"We are able to treat your entire facility from top to bottom, every keyboard key, every light switch, every stitch on every piece of furniture in a fast and efficient way, using the technology we have and the products we use,” said Bressinck.

The FDA approved disinfecting technique leaves a seal on surfaces, which kills the coronavirus up to 30 days after it’s sprayed.

Restaurants specifically are turning to this deep cleaning technique for better luck at keeping their doors open and the virus out.

"We can use our product on every part of the restaurant, from tables to saltshakers to foot prep areas,” said Bressinck.

Cynthia's hasn't had a positive COVID-19 case yet and hopes pro-actively deep cleaning will help its business thrive.

"We do have people, and we love having people, thank goodness. But we've got to make sure it's safe in between,” said Dilday.
